almost home.

and upon happening behind

this van covered in peace and love

and words galore

complete with notes

“listen to your mother” – love, mom

   “make good choices” – love, dad

 and a peace sign and a smile

flashed to me by the driver

when finally side by side 

i knew i was at my exit

and almost home.

  4. So you drove home from Northern Michigan yesterday? I did, too. That van and its messages are proof that traffic is always better on Monday. Shhhhh our secret will leak out. We should always make good choices and listen to our moms, but sometimes we don’t and we learn. Have a great first day of August.
