what i saw
as i arrived at school
for parent teacher conferences
at the beginning of the day.
also what i saw
as i left school
after parent teacher conferences
at the end of the same day.
stories shared
questions answered
conversations had.
a day always passes
no matter how busy or how calm
no matter what we have done or not done
somehow slipping by.

That is a long day, but at least you had a beautiful moon!

Some days that thought is hugely comforting, ‘this too will end’ while other days it flies by as we enjoy every second. Long day for you. Glad you’d the moon to see you home.

Wow … what a long day, Beth! Hope it was a good day, though, and that you were able to send a lot of parents home happy with their kids’ progress.
