“he sprinkles snow like birds alighting,
it comes down like locusts settling.
the eye marvels at the beauty of its whiteness,
and the mind is amazed at its falling.”

Sometimes there’s magic in that first snow. Lovely image.
We have rain here–but the temperature is going to drop all day today.

No, I don’t think so. Rain, and then maybe ice.

A perfect pairing of image and words — there’s nothing so exciting as a first snowfall. We had one on the Texas coast this year. Granted, it was less than a quarter inch, and it was gone in an hour, but it was snow!

I had no idea there was anything about snow in the Bible. I love it whenever one of the scribes does “nature writing.” Those are my favorite parts. Thank for this wonderful thing. <3 It's exactly how I feel about snow.

Yes, I’m not really a bible person or even traditionally religious but there are good words to be found everywhere
