Spaghetti are best eaten by twisting a few strands on a fork’s tines, the spoon is not needed :)

Living in a country (Switzerland) Next to Italy, I did know this although they seldom come alone on the plate 😃

We use “spago” or “spaghetto” only as a synonym of “fright” :D

To tell the whole truth, “spago” also means twine, but in general the word “spaghetto” is used almost only in the sense of “fright”.
“Mi sono preso un bello spaghetto” = ” I’m scared”.

I knew that graffito is a singular piece of graffiti — though I’ve never heard anyone actually use that word. But I never knew about spaghetto!

There is no singular case of spaghetti, although the ‘o’ is evident for just one, has anybody EVER heard of one single spaghetti in any form? This is to change now that talk is about using spaghetti with an opening to use as straws…. ;)
