American Chinese food is generally not too authentic, but is very popular, especially on certain days of the year

Interesting Beth.The Chinese food here in Japan is not authentic as well.It’s just “like” Chinese food

there are a few authentic dishes, if you ask for the chef’s menu, but most places do not have them

I’m always amazed at how busy it is at the Chinese restaurant near us. No matter the day we decide “not cooking in” and we stop and pick up our sweet ‘n sour prawns, the place is so packed it’s …. blurry. :-)

I ate Chinese on Christmas day. My back was making it impossible to go to the second son’s house where everyone else was. My first son stayed with me. We had a great time.

I brought home Chinese yesterday after I left the movie. Saw “Last Christmas” It was a very good movie and then I didn’t have to cook dinner for my daughter or myself. A very relaxing day.

we always have pizza on Christmas Eve. Seems like having the same food each year is part of many people’s Christmas tradition.
