walking in the beautiful snowfall yesterday, it was clear some things never change, even after 100 years

“snow was falling, so much like stars filling the dark trees
that one could easily imagine its reason for being was nothing more than prettiness.”

Snow is beauty as a timeless gift. A perennial blanket of white to a grey and sleeping land.

It is definitely different to always live with it, you either have to embrace it or avoid it )

Snow is rather beautiful, not practical though. Loads of fun! I love it.

I think I heard at least half the states are experiencing snow right now. Florida had sent its power companies out to help. We get lots of help when hurricanes hit here and we want to help when we can. Stay warm.

that’s very. kind of you, and I’m lucky that michigan is quite used to this, but feel for some of the states without heat or power

After getting over the first impression that the man in the hat at the back was Roger Stone, I could step into the scene, read Mary Oliver, and say “Yes!”

I like the fun side of snow; the cleaning up, not so much. But there is beauty in freshly fallen snow…

We live in a mild spot where temperatures are never too extreme. I grew up in the snow and loved it. Feeling a bit nostalgic today.

it is so beautiful, but I do feel so bad for those who are suffering through it right now with no heat or power

My granddaughter had so much fun with sledding, making a snowman, and even just catching the snow as it was falling. Just the right amount of snow is fun for the kids, but an inch in an hour is overwhelming in many states.
