early evening in the park on the river in spring
crew teams have returned with the birds.

it’s a scene I see regularly at West Lakes and it is sort of inspiring if you stop and study the movements but usually I’m too immersed in my dashing walk to notice 🙂

I really enjoy it when I spot the crews propelling their shells past on our Onondaga Lake, Beth. It is so cool to watch.

I travelled to Melbourne Australia once to film a TV show, and my first morning there I got up early to take a walk, which led me along a river – and came across early morning crews out on the water…I got a picture and it was one of my favorite shots…

I love this. These rowers are amazing to watch. My son was a paddler and they always said that rowers do it backward….lmao…do you get it? lol…ugh. Sorry. It’s a paddler joke. xo

Love that book! Set here in my home state, I know all the Washington places in the book very well and the ones in Idaho too! University of Washington is my Alma Mater and I loved renting row boats at the boathouse down there.
