  1. Precious! My son attended the same elementary school I taught at. One of my administrators liked to have staff meetings in other teachers’ rooms. When the meeting turned predictably dull, I began looking around Mrs. Bradley’s third-grade classroom at the self-portraits, trying to locate my son. He inherited the lack of artistic gene from me, so I figured his self-portrait wouldn’t look anything like him. I still laugh today, remembering the moment I found him on the wallβ€”the only African American self-portrait in the class. 🀣🀣🀣
