Anyone can find a stick, but it takes a truly stalwart explorer to find “the” stick. Happy Earth Day, Beth! 🌎

I’m always looking out my window to get a look at nature, respond to birds by attempting to imitate their songs, see the green of the leaves, the clouds in the sky, what bird is flying by. When I go outside I smell the air, carefully if the air is pollen ladden. I love our earth.

The EARTH is such a wonderful natural influencer! And sticks are not just for kinders, or even older children. I went for a walk with my guy yesterday and he raced toward a big stick in the woods nearby, as happy as a ….. child. :-)

I do so covet the concept that every day is Earth Day, Beth, and dearly hold onto your news that kinders naturally live this way.

Oh, my, my middle one always picked the biggest and longest sticks. Once during a walk, he dragged a branch about 3 meters long behind him.

yes, some of them love to carry and drag them around, it’s so cute and funny to see

Really funny. There is someting about sticks. But I remember, I was attracted to them too when I was child… and to stones.

Sticks and rocks outside and cardboard boxes inside. Kids don’t need much to get their imaginations working.
