after 3 years
my little stick
left untouched
given time and space
has grown into
a baby peony tree
well worth the wait
for its very first bloom.

I think it had something to do with not having my glasses on, or with the wp gremlins. thanks so much for telling me, I fixed it!

I love John Steinbeck. I think he was very good at seeing the world. One of the beautiful books my mom gave me was The Red Pony.
