breaking bread (and lots of beans and rice) together

 sharing our day

  1. All the sharing amongst your group and most importantly, with Costa Ricans, plus then sharing with us has made a huge impact.
Drinking contraband…. Beth, beth; whatever next? 🫢😉
I always found that the old saying ‘the way you shoit into the forest, is the resonance’ is so true. You meet ppl with interest, humility and an open mind, you are sure to make great experiences for the rest of your existence.
Sadly, none of your group are young. Maybe a question of the cost of such a trip? How much could younger ppl learn from it!

  2. Sorry, was interrupted…. What I was meaning with that quote is:
shout into the forest and a similar echo will return – or, in plain English: what comes around goes around.
You do everything with an open heart and mind and are willing to listen, to learn and to have fun – and look how WELL it all works! :)

  3. Thank you for sharing, Beth. How cool they’re the most positive people! I love the pictures, adventures, toasts to new friendship, hikes…and the best—the personalities and their lives! I’m sure it was a a mutual feeling with you, too! 💛

  4. There’s nothing nicer than getting involved with folk when visiting their country and learning about their culture. I love group travel too, where a bunch of strangers from around the world come together and then become friends. So many of my FB friends are from trips we shared together.
