Dear Beth
Especially Siri :-) and :-) Selma love our sunflowers. Well, they don’t last long and so they teach us ‘carpe diem’ as R. Kaur sees it as well.

indeed….. but how does rupi know if *they* know? gotta love them – i have one, a biggie, right now in a heavy vase on our dining table. the sun in a glass!
Sunflowers simply make me happy. And I’ve seen so many of them this year, including the towering one grandson Isaac gave his mama for Mother’s Day, nothing but a little plant initially. Then like a blossom of happiness near their front door.
I bought a bunch of flowers last week, divided them and made two smaller bouquets. Fortunately, they still look beautiful. But there were three sunflowers included, that’s why I bought them. :)
Sunflowers are my favourites. I love the way they change direction during the day to stay facing the sun.
Best wishes, Pete.

I love this post. When I am down, I always remember sunflowers and how, despite the circumstances, always turn their faces to the sun.

We know that we won’t be here for long, either. Compared with infinity, even very large finite numbers are as zero.

So much color! On a small street in New York, someone has a dozen growing in a large planter on the sidewalk…an unexpected burst of color!

Love that quote! I feed the birds sunflower seeds so they plant a few around my yard so I love when I get a few volunteers that come up.
