Life finds a way : when nature reclaims space.
We humans transform landscapes and leave our unmistakable marks on the world.
But these marks are not always indelible,
because when we move out, nature quickly moves in to stake its claim once more.

Nothing gladdens my heart more than seeing nature reclaim our mistakes. It reminds me that when the time comes, the Earth will do just fine without humans.
Best wishes, Pete.

That’s something that’s often overlooked in current conversations about the environment. Even if we wipe ourselves out, nature always finds a way. It’ll rebuild. It may take centuries depending upon how bad one believes the situation is, but it will rebuild.

“life finds a way” reminds of me that line in Jurassic Park when the mathematician is talking of the dinosaurs reproducing. Life and nature do win – it is just that it now always the humans that do.

We aren’t destroying the planet; we are destroying ourselves. The planet will remain, in one form or another, and get along just fine without us.

I feel that every day, nature’s saying — quietly or loudly, “Human, you have no idea what’s going on.”

But we still don’t stop. We just keep on with our destructive, greedy ways. I wonder how long the earth and nature will put up with all of it?

People have become truly powerless. Everything is run by the greedy elite, and their only vision is more for themselves.

When American/British explorers Stephens and Catherwood rediscovered ruined Mayan pyramids in the 1800s, most of the pyramids couldn’t be distinguished from mounds of earth, so thoroughly had the elements destroyed them.

I always love seeing nature reclaim human-made or -curated spaces. It’s incredible to find objects that have grown into tree bark or vines covering walls and fences.
