Riotous ? From riot? Interesting and so true. HH was shocked when I asked him to delicately water some plants I pushed to the patio wall where rain doesn’t get access, he came and said: Oh this is a tragedy, some of the spring flowers already shoot up! I thought that was so cute and it showed how this darling man of mine has absolutely NO idea of nature and the force of growing…. I love Rumi even if I don’t understand all of what he says.

Steve S. just pointed out to me that for years I’ve associated the wrong poet with that line about the tangled web we weave. It’s not from Shakespeare, but from Sir Walter Scott’s poem “Marmion.” Live and learn!
