tea haus
calm, pretty, peaceful, lovely, sun and music streaming in
sat in soft chairs
for conversation and a tall chilled pink grapefruit green tea
all so refreshing on a very hot day
saw the note below up by the counter
loved it even more.

Have a cup of tea and select from our delicious pastries, savories, and other treats. Our sunlit space has comfy nooks—or you can sit around a table or at the bar. And yes, we now serve tea cocktails, n/a cocktails, tea-infused craft beer, and other drinks in addition to over 200 fine teas!
We encourage engagement, so you’ll find puzzles, games, and books in our inviting space. In this spirit, we ask that you refrain from using electronics, there is no wi-fi. Let’s reconnect with each other!
As always, all our products are made fresh in-Haus, in small batches, by hand, with a European twist.
French macarons, cake, cookies, savories, tea cocktails, and MORE!

that sounds like my ideal resting place. except of course, i‘m an espresso addict (real espresso, no mucking about, abhor Starbucks ‚creations‘ and such) which means I would either come for a refreshing REAL Earl Grey tea with leaves not leaf dust OR I‘d finally have to like green tea. I seem to be the only living creature who doesn‘t like green teas.

I‘m glad we agree…. :) I (sadly) also never grew to like strong English tea with milk…. At events where tea was served (with no exception in over 8 yrs!) I always asked for a ‚water supplement‘ and thanks, but no milk, and no sugar…. which earned me many a remark ‚but that‘s just water‘ (to which I always said: I love my espresso small, dark, strong, hot and my tea like ‚stale flower water‘, weak and lightly brown!)

Looks nice, but I would have to have real English tea, nice and strong with a splash of milk. 😉
Best wishes, Pete.

I’m a tea drinker, so this place sounds delightful. And I like their spirit of not providing wi-fi, to encourage people to chat and play games 🌞
