  1. Fab pics Beth. Although it is my closest neighbouring country, I have never been to Portugal, but I can see that our towns are very similar to theirs, especially the more southern ones where the buganvilias blossom so beautifully. It is the same here in the Aegean coast of both Turkey and Greece with those beautiful flowers.

  2. The flowers and colors remind me of Greece, where coastal architecture, sun-loving plants, like bougainvillea flourished. I returned many years ago with lots of Greek pottery, and small, rounded stones from Greek beaches, back when it was easier to travel with heavy luggage.

  3. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. There is so much life in them. It is so activating. This year, my middle one spent his third time in Portugal surfing and visiting the area. It is a beautiful country.

  4. One of my close friends (he’s Portuguese) just returned from Portugal to visit relatives and sightsee. It’s going to be fun to compare your photos with his.
