New York is filled with Farmers Markets, virtually every day in one part of the city or another – and yesterday we were walking to dinner and came across a ten block long street fair: all food and trinkets but so much fun and the smells!

me too Victoria! Here you can buy so called snack-cucumbers. Small, fresh, no peeling needed, a bit like the mouse ones…. but no lemon/melon taste.

I love a good Farmer’s Market. I go to the Cherry St Market in Kalkaska quite often when we’re up north. Have you ever been there?

I’ve passed through kalkaska, on my way up north sometimes, but I’ve never been to their market. they each have their own personality

aaawh, this is my dream market! I could say or ask something to every single photo (which I enlarged all to view every detail). What a joy, fun, selection, the colours, smells, people, witty panels – I think I‘d totally go overboard shopping there. Thanks for sharing.
