a rare sighting of michigan flamingos in the wild
standing perfectly still
not making eye contact or uttering a sound
i dare not tell them that they are not camouflaged.

I never really understood why people have those, but they are also popular in the UK. I prefer the real ones, but we have to see them in bird parks or zoos here. 😊
Best wishes, Pete.

Walk and work with dignity and you will receive dignity and respect in return. Hold your head high too.

Some of their relatives settled here (far north Denver suburbs). At some point they left. Apparently sensed they weren’t welcome.

We’ve had one in our yard so long that the foliage has grown up all around it so now he is truly camouflaged. I asked my husband to put some Christmas lights out one holiday season and he wrapped our flamingo with them. That was it! :)) Chris

The perfect parking space, and Neil Peart. (a Canadian) Hubs owns a mixing board he bought around 2002. It was Rush’s board that they did one of their last albums on. It is signed by the band, and Neil’s is there. RIP!

You are so fortunate. They are notoriously difficult to spot. So glad you have a photo to prove they were really there.
