How I loved my little record player. But it wasn’t a Victrola. My parents had a big Victrola console, a handsome piece of furniture (mahogany?) that they had all their lives (long after the turntable and radio stopping working).

My wife threw me a vinyl party for my birthday on New Years Eve, and everyone brought a record that meant something to them and told their story…it was a blast! Happy new year!
