  1. I opened the ‘Christmas Biscuits’ tin just yesterday. (You call them cookies) They are oat and almond with ginger, and very delicious! I still have the chocolate covered Brazil Nuts, the authentic Turkish Delight, and a bag of coconut mushrooms. (Sweet candy mushroom shapes covered in coconut.) My festive supplies will easily last past the end of January. 😊
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. I suspect the cartoonist has encountered actual larvae that do exactly that: covering themselves with bits of what’s around to avoid detection. I’ve never seen the same technique applied to humans — I can’t tell you how much I laughed.

  3. So tempting. I have put most of the Christmas chocolate in the freezer because good grief I got a lot. My buns are round enough, thank you very much!
But oh… I would love to hide and just read.
