would you hang off the side of a cliff for coffee?
this cafe in Hangzhou, China, rewards adventurers
who complete a rock climb with a cup of joe and some views —
just don’t look down.
(I do love coffee, pretty much any kind, anywhere, but I couldn’t do this.)

I agree with you. I’m a caffeine lover, but not an adrenaline junkie. My pleasure to share.

I’m not afraid of heights, but at almost 73 years old, I might not bother with that coffee shop! Well done to those brave enough though.
Best wishes, Pete.

Funnily enough, I am reading this as I’m trying to wake myself up for work with coffee. Thankfully I’m on my dining room chair and not on the edge of a mountain or I’d be splat by now! Great concept though and I can see it being a bit over here.

I’d rather fill up our coffee maker on our kitchen counter, Beth. I like the views in our house.

Whoa….ummmm…NO. I can barely look at the photo! But I appreciate the effort…from my cushy seat from where I stare at the brave ones…coffee in hand…that required me to go up and down a single flight of stairs. 🥰😜🥰

This is a hard no! Seems like a rather cheap reward for enduring the climb up, no?

I can think of better ways to get a coffee. . .
Here in Canada at Tim Hortons I think starting today, you can ‘Roll Up The Rim’ get a free coffee, maybe a car or other good stuff. – More my style! :D

A place like this might be a hit here in Colorado, but I’ll stick with coffee on my sofa.

Making it down the hill to the “drive through” for coffee is quite the adventure for me, although I do regret also risking the lives of others every day.

Maybe for a nice cocktail, but I can brew a decent pot at home that requires no cliff-hanging whatsoever.
