  1. I read a news article about this yesterday. It was inspiring and emotional. And impressive especially how his colleagues would ask questions to give him a bit of a break because questions were allowed. And how another colleague stayed with him all night because he had done something similar for that colleague. How his aids kept handing the sheets of paper he was reading from. He gave new meaning to the phrase stand up for your country.

  2. So many bad things happening – and not one of them was necessary, at least in the manner they are being done…remember that there was a bipartisan bill that would tackle the border issue, yet Trump torpedoed it so that Biden couldn’t get credit for it…that’s how sickening our leadership is right now..and for those who are being financially clobbered by Trump’s disastrous tariff plans, please remember who was behind it when you have a chance to vote for the kind of leadership that makes your life better, and doesn’t create a “Lord Of The Flies” scenario

  3. I read how he prepared for the long talk. He was determined not only to break a record but to send the message. And if he enlightened a few more then it was worth it.

I was gently talking to a friend about things and the friend replied,”I don’t discuss politics.”
I replied … not so gently, “This isn’t politics! This is the future of our country!”

  4. Yes, thank you, Senator Cory Booker for standing up for democracy. And thank you to the voters of Wisconsin for electing Democrat Susan Crawford to the State Supreme Court, handily defeating her opponent endorsed by President Trump and Elon Musk. Voters cannot be bought. Musk showed up in Green Bay on Sunday, handing out million dollar checks, along with pouring millions into the Republican’s campaign. Wisconsinites sent a strong message that their votes are not for sale and that they are not happy with the current regime. Way to go, Wisconsin! I’ve never been prouder of my neighbor to the east of Minnesota.
