I much prefer thin-crust pizza. The deep-pan style and stuffed crusts seem excessive to me. It is rare to find it sold in slices in the UK though, you have to buy the whole thing.

Thanks for letting me know. I have never been to America, but the Italian-style Pizza chains in England always offer thin crust.

For years I made Mother’s Homemade Pizza for my kids. They still tell me it was the best! I don’t know about that, but it certainly was cheaper!

OHHHHHH I love that quote!!! We have Chicago pizza shipped to us every Christmas. It is so good. I’ve lived in New York and never got into that cracker like pizza!!!

I love the quote at the end.
Made me giggle and read it out loud to my husband. We prefer deep dish because we have to eat waaaaay too much thin crust to get full. Deep dish only takes 1 slice. So I’d prefer the New York pizza as a box for my deep dish. 😂

My preferences change over time, but I draw the line at pizza so thick and goopy that I need a fork to eat it. These days I’m leaning thin crust with a moderate variety of toppings.

Chicago pizza is soooooooo delicious. Never had NY pizza but they fold it when they eat it and why. There have been competition between the two cities.

I used to love pan pizza but we’ve found a place that makes THE BEST New York style pizza. The kind that comes out of the brick oven hot and you can fold the pieces in half. It’s amazing…
