When I was 18, and living in London a long way from any sunflower fields , I saw this film at the cinema. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065782/
After that, I had an overwhelming desire to go and find huge fields of sunflowers.
(I think the whole film is available to watch free on You Tube)
Best wishes, Pete.
The sunflowers in the picture are beautiful. But when you’ve seen them for real in the beautiful fields of Kansas – The Sunflower State – they are indescribable. ;)
Sunflowers are so mesmerizing, especially the fields! 🌻🌻🌻
We have a few sunflower farms/fields just outside the city. The farmers now have to put a border up because of Instagrammers that descend on them during peak bloom season. 😆 It’s both amusing but also annoying for the farmers.
I love sunflowers….many years ago I was on business trip in France. We were driving from Paris into the countryside and the fields were full of sunflowers. It was amazing. I will never forget gazing out the window and seeing fields of sunflowers as the sunset. Breathtaking.
I was so excited when a little bit of scattered bird seed erupted into sunflowers along my back fence. A whole field of them leaves in the speechless.
