Other than my nose starting to sniffle, it is a beautiful painting. Like wooly sheep or clouds of fluff. 💕

I absolutely marvel at how anyone can so believably paint fluff — and this painting shouts shades of, “I picked these for you!” 💕

Ah, dandelions, the flower of our childhoods. Just yesterday my grandson, 6, was marveling at a dandelion. When my second daughter was four, she picked a whole bunch of dandelions and sold them in front of our house on Mother’s Day. And, yes passersby bought them, including the neighbor kids, who had a full yard of dandelions.

I still love them and that is amazing that she sold those, the perfect Mother’s Day gift! that’s so wonderful about the neighbor kids buying them )

It’s such a wonderful Mother’s Day memory. I remember picking dandelions for my mom. Often.

It’s a beautiful painting that reminds me of my childhood, blowing the dandelion seeds throughout the yard, much to mom’s chagrin.

Achoo! I haven’t blown one of those for years, I remember we’d make a wish if we blew them clean! Happy days. Achoo!

I love dandelions…one of the first sources of food for bees! The dandelion in bloom is the sun, when in puff ball stage like the painting they are the moon and when blown to the wind, they are stars. :) Chris

Today, I try to catch the dandelions in my garden before they spread. But you reminded me of the time when it was just so much fun to blow the seeds away.

Although my garden has lots of bee-friendly plants, it is a good argument for not weeding 😄
