hair show.

Standard

when i sit in my stylist’s chair

she asks me what i’d like to have done

i’m pretty casual and relaxed about my hair

 looking to my right

I say

well, actually the exact opposite

of whatever is going on

with the woman’s head in the mirror next to us

and i’ll be happy, thanks.

‘happiness is meeting the right hairstylist.’

  1. LOL. “The opposite of whatever’s going on” – I’m going to have to use that when I go get my hair done. 😁
I just went to get my son’s haircut, and the lady started grabbing all over my hair and messing with it.
I felt like slapping her hand and telling her, “NO!”. ha.
She was telling my daughter if she does her hair, she wants something like mine.
I love hair stylists though. It’s just hard to find a great one.

  2. 😂 Thanks for the laugh! I had a dear aunt who was also a beautician. She was a hardworking salon owner who enjoyed putting me in hair shows, always experimenting. 🤣 Natural works best for me now.

  3. I have to share this with my hairstylist, who’s become a dear friend over the years, beth.

I had a bad perm many years ago (before meeting the above), and when I complained to a dear friend, she said: “One thing about a permanent is that it’s temporary!”

  4. True. I’ve had mine since 1991. I still drive back to MI every 8 weeks or so. He loves to freak people out with those heads, but we have the same sense of humor. Glad you have a trusted Hair Stylist.

  5. So funny! My hair is wavy so if I get the wrong stylist, my cut does look like that woman! My stylist has to cut my hair dry and then wash it and finish styling otherwise I look like Bill the Cat.
