I wouldn’t want it every day, but I like some days like that, especially to walk on a beach.

I love the name, ‘Sleeping Bear Bay’. The beach looks a lot like some of those not far from where I live, 20 miles north of Beetley.
Best wishes, Pete.

it is near the sleeping bear sand dunes here in the north, named by the native Americans for their shape

Love those muted hues — especially for a beach scene! 🥰

thanks, and I was the only person there, so it was quiet and I could really just take it all in

Tonight, after my weary day
Near a misty Sleeping Bear Bay
On a bed of soft, dry hay
Is where I shall dreamily lay

This pic reminds me that I love rain when staying at a lake. Restful in a different way.

Oh, that looks so so inviting. I love going for a walk by the beach on these kind of days. Not too hot nor full and a mood of mystery and tranquility.

Ahhh… so peaceful! I love this area! We go up north often in the summer. We stay near Torch Lake. We used to travel to Glen Arbor with the kids when they were younger. So many wonderful memories made there. <3
