Last day with kiddos for this school year, sleeping late, daughter’s second day of work, talking to her as she drives to work, smiling and laughing and planning. Sometimes you have to roll with it, even without a cat as a lookout. Thanks for the reminder and encouragement. Peace.

We do resist change but eventually change will overcome that resistance and we accept new and fall into new patterns. I sleep whenever sleep comes and don’t force it. And three meals a day … how silly. I eat whatever and whenever I’m hungry.
I still sit and stare a lot. At the computer. Not changing that!!

Today we are rolling with a smoke-heavy sky here in southern Minnesota from the Canadian wildfires. It looks foggy. I want to throw open the windows given the cooler air temp, but can’t due to the smoke smell.

noooo, do not give him ideas. I may have to hide this in case he has learned to read. he does also watch storms from up there. in the morning if he senses any movement or sign of life he quickly abandons his post in favor of food. highly motivated that way

I love the photo of your cat welcoming the new day so peacefully. I had a cat who batted the wooden shutters open and closed on the window closest to my head until I got out of bed.

That reminds me of our first cat Mika. He love watching the lightening and was not afraid of thunderstorms a t all… although he always enjoyed them from inside 😄
