For no associated reason, that reminds me how good the Swedish meatballs were at the IKEA cafe in London’s IKEA shops. 😊
Best wishes, Pete.

So true. Only complaint I had about my last visit was they keep it soooo cold. I got a headache!

Such an interesting quotation from Frida Kahlo, which made me realize she’s very different from what I assumed.

Would you believe I’ve never been to Ikea? We have one in Denver but it’s waaay on the far side of town. Just as well. I have no self restraint in a place like that and I’ve never met a cookie I didn’t like.

I hear you! When we go to IKEA, we have to take along frozen köttbullar plus Daim cake. If we don’t take it along, we would have a problem with our son… lol

That is nice. In Sweden, where I am from originally, we have Fika. We take a break, have coffee and a cookie or a bun, talk and relax for 15 minutes, and if children are present they do the same but they typically have something else than coffee. At work it is mandated that you have the coffee break twice a day. Around 10AM and then around 2-3PM. Nobody works through the entire day without a lunch and two coffee/fika breaks.
