  1. Funnily enough, I’ve had a search around the house, and there doesn’t seem to be a mosaic anywhere …

  2. I love this photo and the accompanying message, Beth. Not to inadvertently make it political, but Canada is often described as a mosaic and I do love that philosophy and approach. We’re stronger because of our diversity!

  3. I love this. Today I set a desk outside along the boulevard to give away. A woman from Somalia, among our newest residents, stopped. She wanted the desk and I was so happy to give it to her. After my husband helped load it into her friend’s car, I spontaneously hugged her. It felt good and right to do so in a community where our newest immigrants are not always welcomed. She was so grateful and gracious. It was a beautiful moment in my day.
