now that it’s november

I went on my annual quest

to buy a planning calendar

for the coming year

lo and behold

after going to three stores

not one of them

had a single 2026 calendar

each store seemed puzzled

that none had arrived yet

is this a bad sign

for the coming year?

for the future?

what’s up with 2026?

am i not supposed

to be planning anything

after December 31, 2025?

  1. I use a large paper calendar with big squares for each day. Julie normally buys me one with photos of Sharpei dogs, because of Ollie. She told me that she has already received it, so we don’t seem to have any issues with 2026 calendars in the UK.

  18. wow – I wonder if there are no calendars because so many folks are digital? But surely many of us still want planning calendars and other paper options – I know I do! And they should be for sale right now??
