for my blog friend, Audrey, and all Minnesotans, who are still out there fighting, struggling, and just trying to live their lives. The surge continues. People are still being taken, traumatized, afraid to go to work or school, and while not in the big city of Minneapolis, the smaller towns are suffering too. Thank you, Pete. I am doing what I can via my writing voice, protesting every weekend in my city and volunteering at a local food shelf. Every small bit helps and I am determined not to remain silent.

Keeping in touch with the news about the wrongs and not being afraid to talk with neighbors in casual conversation about it can be useful. Be aware of what might be happening in my own community.

Happy to help in any way I can and to get the word out that the federal government continues to terrorize and impact Minnesota and how the smaller communities are impacted as well as the big cities. It is not over yet and even when they leave the destruction and pain they have caused will be felt for a long time to come. Thank you for continuing to write about it, protest and support your community of Faribault as well as the larger community.

A group of us met last night to discuss housing issues and getting new people elected to local public offices. People who are able to set aside personal views and partisanship to consider the common good.
