  1. love alpacas and llamas; there used to be a farm where we lived — and we’d visit it regularly each year; it was refreshing and regenerative ; and there was a great cafe there too, all home grown products —

    • you would, Audrey. and the family was very nice. the mother was teaching baking classes in the kitchen when we came, and the baked goods they were selling were amazing. the two grown sons were working in the store and outside on the farm. they sold products made with the alpaca wool as well, and other handcrafted items, coffee, and very cute christmas ornaments, baby clothes, and a few items for the home. the farm was very well taken care of and we walked the property, with a tree house, beautiful trees, and a space where they host little weddings. the animals were really friendly and well cared for, some of them walk around, the bunnies and chickens, and they are animal lovers. next time I go back, I’d love to meet the mini donkeys who live there. it looks like a wonderful place for the family to have raised their sons.
