we visited the cutest family farm near our freinds’ house
sweet animals and baked goods and alpaca wearables
a little shop, and baking classes
everything created and taught and well cared for by the family
on a beautiful plot of land
a lovey place to vist and a lovely place to live.

That Brian Brett quote is perfect. My dad was a farmer, and it was definitely a profession of hope!

I’m glad it made sense to you I do think it takes a lot of dedication and certainly hope

But no tempting photos of the ‘baked goods’ or were they quickly devoured before you manage to find the camera :-)

We love those family-friendly farms, and there are quite a few in the county we live in. Great places to take our grandchildren to.
Best wishes, Pete.

Oh what fun! I love alpacas. Lots of them in the mountains around here. They are great pack animals in addition to the wool they provide.

love alpacas and llamas; there used to be a farm where we lived — and we’d visit it regularly each year; it was refreshing and regenerative ; and there was a great cafe there too, all home grown products —
