i know that many people don’t enjoy this type of art, but i find it fascinating when an artist can paint something to make it look so real as if it is a photograph

Wow! That is talent. I am told from painter friends that painting water like this is very difficult. She makes it look so real.

I touched my fingers to the screen and honestly thought I could feel the cool moisture. I wonder if the same sensation would occur with a picture of a steaming cup of coffee.

I’m so impressed when people capture this level of detail with oil painting. It looked like a photo to me! I even like how the black background fades to a dark gray as we see it through the water. Very cool.

The moisture on the glass is a great touch. It’s hard to create a feeling of hot or cold in a still life.

The beauty of every day thinks. The importance of seeing every day things, one thing….is to take a photo, another is to use one’s skills to make an 3very day sight into a beatifully worked image that lasts for ever. A tribute indeed to a star,,,,, a simple glass of water.
