I’ve seen some of her work at other museums, but it would be fascinating to see so much of it.

it was beautiful and she wrote a lot about what she thought of things and her art and how she lived her life

I love her work. We had an exhibition at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts last year. I went to see it three times.

Oh wow.. my art class in college spent very little time on her paintings. So much for a college education lol.
But we did see and study many of her charcoal drawings.
But she lived her art. I loved these photos, Beth.

Hi Beth, there’s a terrifically full profile of O’Keefe by the recently deceased Calvin Tomkins in ‘The New Yorker’ of Feb 26, 1974 if you can access it —

yes, I’d be surprised if American libraries didn’t stock ‘The New Yorker’ anyway ; you might be lucky and score a hard copy —
