checked up on mother goose’s egg yesterday and it was totally alone
checked today and it was off the rock
sitting broken under water
sad it didn’t survive
life can be so fragile.

happy to tell the kinder
there would be 2 stay-home days – a weekend
saturday and sunday
we’d all be back together again on monday

‘do you know that friday is already the weekend?’

living the high life.
these cats
olive and rose
really have it made
a modern kitty headquarters
custom-designed and gifted from grandies
a special stash of catnip
gifted from those who cared for rose
no jobs, appointments, chores, errands, meetings, or responsibilities at all
a gift from mother nature.
