Just amazing that any guy would think this will get him to the promised land. On the other hand, at least snotdoc is a professional. :)

I think shagadelica might be worth the date just to see if he dresses like Austin Powers.

This is exactly why I do not do internet dating. I had nothing but bad experiences. My policy now is if I meet a guy in person and he seems ok, I might give him a chance otherwise I will be alone for a while. No more internet for me.

Hilarious! When one of my ‘Matches’, (so generously provided by POF) arrived in my mailbox with the name “Looking Hard 8” I honestly thought he meant he had been looking high and low for a woman, and that the 8 was the infinity symbol…was I wrong…he was bragging!

My dear friend sent me a text that she was matched with a profile that literally said, “I’m a nice guy. I don’t hit girls.” What do you say to that? Congratulations?

sadly, I believe I have dated hotbonerup as well as runwildnude….Though now that a previous poster pointed out snotdoc’s possible “bankability” I do believe I see a free dinner in my future…well halfsies is probably more likely. Great post!

I met my first wife in the newspaper. My friends dared me to run an ad. The last line of my ad read. “Must be willing to lie about how we met”

@iamtom – this is an amazing line and would have lured me in like a rabid swordfish.

Similar story, we both made up a new way we met too! Thirteen years plus later we still haven’t told anyone!

At this point it would be weird.I think about telling our kids at a “home” when we are all much older but that would give them issues. Of course as kids we won’t tell them now. We told family our stories and we’re sticking to them… The main problem is, of course, under pressure we made up a much, much pathetic story!!

The sad part is under pressure we made up a more pathetic, embarrassing story of how we met! Probably won’t crack, though…
