I second that. When I was young, the orthodox view was that stomach ulcers were caused by stress. Then a scientist showed that the bacterium Helicobacter pylori is usually the culprit.
I love that Grandie J!! He’s got the best grin going! 😀
Whoever doesn’t believe in science actually doesn’t trust the One who created our brains! My Dad was often debating with my Uncle who took a black marker and and crossed out evolution in the science textbooks he used to teach HS science. “How could you not believe in something special?,”he would argue. . .
*In this case, (Grandie J pointing out) science is even more clear when you watch the shrinking ice and animals suffering from our poor environmental choices. 🌱🏞🌳🐧🐋
Without science, we’d all still believe that the earth was flat and the universe is revolving around us. Hold on now. Maybe the earth is flat and the universe does revolve around me.

Unless of course, another scientist proves it’s untrue centuries later. 😉

We are a family deeply rooted in science and medicine.. people might be shocked to learn how much disagreement exists in both fields.

Great sign, great quote. Our world has improved with the presence of Neil de Grasse Tyson.
