the waxing moon enabled this unique VIIRS view of the great lakes last night.

    What a beautiful view!
    I’ve been trying to get decent pictures of the bright moon and visible planets over Lake Michigan with my cellphone. My photos look like big, black blobs! Wishing you a very Happy New Year!
