Down here, August is the Friday afternoon you’ve discovered you can’t go home until you’ve finished that assignment that landed on your desk at 4:49, and you’re due to get off at 5:00.
August has definitely had more DIY in it than other months for me (another Covid lockdown for me and the family. Youngest had symptoms, tested, all fine, back to normal tomorrow 🙂 ).
Sunday was always DIY day for my dad when I was a kid so feeling the correlation in that 🙂
Same! And I’ve yet to visit Scotland though I plan to when travel happens again, I’m Scott/Irish on one side and Italian on the other. I’ve been to Ireland but still have 2 to go )

Same here in Scotland 🙂 I’m always torn between Spring and Autumn as my favourite season here.
Autumn is my big writing season so it tends to win on those grounds 😉
