my favorite self portrait of the season
looks back at you eye-to-eye
confident and unapologetic
something about it – so open and joyful.

Bold and in the style of the great expressionist painters. Keep an eye on this one!

My, so lovely, I remember my kids drawing themselves. So sweet what they noticed about them as special to “mention” in the drawing.

I’m not sure what I’m looking at and that’s what gives it an artsy feel. :-)

It would be so fascinating to see how this one’s self portrait changes from year to year. Right now, there’s no body at all, just a head, a bunch of fingers, with legs and feet, which makes perfect sense.

we have our students for two years, and keep them, making them into a book for parents to keep. they are stunning, a clear record of their development.

I try to avoid any selfies, self-portraits or anything in that direction. Looking at myself in the mirror is more than enough to bear with! ;)

great picture! my wife has told me when some of her pre-k students do drawings of themselves or others, many of them show the person wearing a mask…
