  1. I often say only “morning” until I know if it will be good or not. I never thought of just saying “g’morning”, which is assumptive in meaning but not proven as meaning. And on those rare days, the “g” can mean great or even grand!

  2. I said good morning to a guy at the gas station yesterday, he was at the pump next to mine and it started a conversation. That kind of thing used to be normal here — Covid shut it down — so I was very happy to have that small trend of normal, just discussing the discounts we were getting with our loyalty cards. You never know what a “Good morning” will do for someone else’s (and your?) day.
