so that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors.
coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”

‘There’s no place like home’ is one of the most accurate old sayings ever.

Terry Pratchett has written several fun and unique books. Kind of science fiction fiction. Love this quote.

So true. For me, returning to Switzerland, after 8+yrs in UK and 12+yrs in France, it gave me a profound feeling of ‘coming home’. I also don’t feel like hols abroad, I find so many wonderful corners in my country. It’s like a new-ish discovery.
Is that really YOUR home place? That wd be ΓΌber wonderful. In HH’s home town, a tiny house was lovingly named: trop p’tit pour moi (too small 4 me) ….

Ah, to leave and then come home. I need that. It’s been a long winter in Minnesota. Indiana-bound in May.

There’s a similar sentiment in “Lord of the Rings” when the hobbits return to the Shire after their long trek to Mordor and back.
Which is to say, I like it!

Is that a little plaque in your real home or just a photo and do you really live in a tiny house such as what is known now as a “tiny home”? I’m confused..as usual. π But Welcome home sweet home just the same!
LikeLiked by 1 person
yes, this is what I named my house, because it means peaceful tiny house and describes where I live, so I had a plaque made. I live in a 900 foot home, not too tiny by tiny house standards, but tiny none the less. )
