  1. I resemble the ‘quote’ Beth … I failed English in mid-term of my graduation year but after being tutored, I managed to pass and get into University the next year … hmmm, and here I am now, writing ‘poetry’ ???

  2. This is brilliant! I love the way the author has dealt with the spelling issues/varieties. And yes, of course, we would all fear our mammies wrath far more than any little annoyance a reader may have! Brilliant!

  3. I love this and it annoyed the bleep out of me that all the Harry Potter books had to be “Americanized” – really? They can’t handle a random “U” and “S” instead of “Z”?

  4. I find this funny and enlightening. English is English and spellings are different for the diverse areas. It’s just the way it is. I liked that letter, though. And appreciate the Zzzzzs the author offered at the end. Thanks for sharing. You rock. xo
