We have our grandson all day today because of a teacher’s strike. My wife is equally protective. :)
Best wishes, Pete.

Yes, I know :) No matter the title, I’m reading it!

Oh wait. There is another one (methinks same difference?) “My Grandmother asked me to tell you she’s sorry”

:) Nothing to be sorry about, the book has two different titles for two different demographics :)
As long as the story is the same!

Isn’t that nuts? Has the same cover so, for reasons, we cannot fathom, there are two titles. Bet you one is for the Americans and the other is for everyone else ;-)

I miss my kids grandmas and I miss them, too. Those two were really a force. Love the Backman quote, just finished reading A Man Called Ove and watched the Swedish film with subtitles he was a wonderful grandad to those two kids.

Didn’t know I was both a sword and shield. Maybe because my rule is “what happens at Grandma’s stays at Grandma’s? I dunno, but being a grandma is a huge privilege.

I sometimes find it hard to believe I no longer have any living grandparents. I sure did treasure them when they were around, though.
