I also wish we would have a Deli here. Just last week the last regular opened place to geta doner kebab has closed. It’s a village with around 2700 citizens here, but since more than 10 years you can’t get a daily lunch. ;-/ Best wishes, Michael

That deli looks a lot like the one on the small island where I was born. I don’t know much about poetry, but I can sure relate to this one!!

I purchased hot ham and American cheese for myself and turkey for my dear wife Karen for our lunches this week, Beth. Yeah, retired guy makes weekday sandwiches at home, sending them off to work with her and eating them with cherished rescue dog Ellie later for me.

Very few things in this world are better than a good deli. One of my favorite sandwiches is peanut butter with potato chips.

I hide food so others won’t eat it before I can get to it. But by the time I find it again, it no longer resembles food.
