  1. When I started school at the age of 5 in 1957, we only used flour and water to glue paper together. Three years later, I upgraded to a glass bottle of brown glue that had a rubber ‘spreader’ top, like this brand. I thought I had really arrived! :)

  2. I remember that some students would spread glue on their palms and then stick them together to see how long it would take to dry. I also remember that peeling dried white glue from your skin could be entertaining as well
