  17. This is he sweetest and truest quote to go by on this, your National Thanksgiving…. We, in Switzerland have the Bettag (Day of prayer) which was shortened from Dank-, Buss- und Bettag (thanks, repentance and prayer day) to simply ‘prayer day’ but it’s actually celebrated as a harvest festival day (sort of)…. and no turkeys are being harmed. We also wouldn’t have the ofens big enough for such a collosal bird!
