  1. Beth,

I’m truly sorry to hear about the loss of your sister’s husband. The poem beautifully captures the weight of the moment and the shared sorrow. Your strength in coming together for a remembrance and celebration is truly heartwarming.

The quote by Charles Henry Parkhurst perfectly encapsulates the essence of sympathy during challenging times.

Wishing you and your family comfort and togetherness.

  2. Oh my, what a shock! My sincere condolences to your sister, and you and everyone who knew and loved him. May his memory be a blessing. The image and poem you have posted are moving reminders that “…the love you take is equal to the love you make” Lennon-McCartney

  3. Such heartbreak seems even more poignant by the season. I understand how much she needs to see and hug you – and my hunch is that you can’t wait to see her too…I’m sorry for her loss and the loss of your brother-in-law…

  4. Some things are hard to share with others that we mostly know through a post on a blog. To receive this news any time is difficult but especially at Christmas. We grieve for our WP friends and for those that they love.

  5. Oh I am so sorry Beth..as others have said..a loss of a great love is heartbreaking enough but on Christmas Day? Your sister will need you now more than ever and so great that you will be able to go and be with her. Where are you traveling to?
